Conceptual Mother & Daughter Story

A symbolic visual story about reunion, intuition and the spiritual inheritance shared between a mother and daughter.

The Story

This story was built around a mother and daughter who share more than a family bond.

They carry a beautiful mystical inheritance — a way of seeing the world shaped by intuition, spirituality, belief in the universe and a deep faith in themselves.

The session became even more meaningful because the daughter was visiting her mother after nearly four years apart. I wanted to create images that could preserve the memory of that reunion while also telling something deeper about who they are and the story they carry together.

Rather than creating simple portraits, I wanted the photographs to reflect their connection, their beliefs and the quiet spiritual language that exists between them.

The story was already there.

My role was to give it a visual form.

The Visual Direction

I created the concept around an open field at the end of the day, moving slowly into blue hour.

The setting felt right for this story because it brought together two things I wanted to preserve: the connection to natural elements and the freedom to simply be who they are.
